As always, the ACT-4004 lubrication kit is in the parts list, as Bruce finds most locos need lubrication, even if it is just the conductive oil in this kit.

Bruce put this up here for two reasons:

1) Sound Quality - While the speaker enclosure mechanism is NOT what Bruce would design, it works just FINE! Not to worry - follow the directions. Except, Bruce sees no reason for using a gasket - the speaker snaps into the Kato enclosure. Question - why didn’t Kato mold holes for the speaker wires into the enclosure?

2) Lighting - The parts list above is not in sync with SoundTraxx’. * Bruce adds a capacitor and resistor on the LEDs to eliminate the “glow” inherent with using LC series decoders with LEDs. - See diagram below:
