The DH163A0 operates front and rear Golden White LEDs and individual LEDs in the ditch light pipes, as well as a yellow LED mounted in the cab roof, operating as a strobe. The ditch lights flash with the horn (F2). The strobe operates on F1 with the bell. A single pin connector is used to disconnect the red decoder leads for separate service mode programming. The decoders are set to separate 2 digit addresses for individual OPS mode programming (on the main). The lock function of the Digitrax decoder is used.The speaker is cantilevered off the rear weight.

Note - with this style of install, the shell is an integral part of the acoustic design and you will get almost NO sound out of the loco until you install the shell.
